Sidesteps improve vehicle access for wheelchair passengers, i.e. elderly and disabled, by making it easier for them to enter and exit the vehicle. Additionally, sidesteps help reduce injury and falls. Three options:

Electric Sidesteps

  • Operation via switch in the B-pillar of the sliding door. The switch cannot be reached while driving.
  • Design: Perforated aluminum sheet (R15 slip resistance) with stainless steel guide.
  • Audible alarm with extended side step.
  • Also available as a full-automatic sidestep, which runs automatically when opening or closing the wide door.
